I’m a friendly yet assertive professional with over 20 years of experience promoting integrated care pathways for marginalised individuals and communities. My work focuses on creating seamless, whole-person healthcare — supporting individuals across the full care trajectory, from primary to tertiary services. I hold an Honors Degree in Psychology from Dublin City University, a postgraduate qualification in Science from Atlantic Technological University, and I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I’ve also earned multiple professional qualifications in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Life and Whole Health Coaching, and Veteran Care.

Based in Ireland, I am an author, poet, and veteran support officer. My writing is deeply rooted in lived experience and shaped by the themes I care most about: mental health, military life, and poetry. These threads come together in my first published work, Letters from the Soul, Vol. 1 — a heartfelt collection of poetry that gives voice to untold stories and personal journeys.Beyond the page, I’m committed to helping veterans heal, grow, and find strength in their own stories. Whether through literature, advocacy, or support services, my mission is simple: to bring connection, compassion, and courage to the forefront of everything I do.

Currently I serve as the first female Veteran Support Officer (VSO) for the Irish Defence Forces' charity, Óglaigh Náisiúnta na hÉireann (ONE). In this role I provide critical services in veteran homes and support centres. My responsibilities include assisting veterans in accessing permanent accommodation, improving mental health, and preventing homelessness. I have an extensive family history in the Defence Forces.  I have served as a non-commissioned officer with the Medical Corps.  My father, was a sergeant in Transport Company, and my husband, previously served with the 12th Infantry Battalion. I currently sit as the Chairperson of a  branch of Óglaigh Náisiúnta na hÉireann.
