The Poetic Patchwork Of Humanity:

From Life I Speak

I am delighted to introduce my new book, The Poetic Patchwork of Humanity From Life I Speak, scheduled for release in the summer of 2026.

This collection of poems was shaped by people and by encounters that stayed with me long after the moment ended. Every poem in this book comes from real lives I crossed paths with, from stories entrusted to me, and from events that revealed the fragile, resilient, and beautifully complex nature of being human. I listened. I observed. I felt. and I wrote. Some poems were born from conversations that lasted minutes; others from connections that unfolded over time. There are voices of joy and grief, hope and heartbreak, survival and surrender. There are moments when life spoke softly and others when it spoke in a roar. These poems are my response to those moments. They are not meant to explain or judge, but to witness and to honour the humanity within each encounter.

The Poetic Patchwork of Humanity From Life I Speak is a gathering of lived experiences different people, different paths, different truths stitched together through poetry. Like a patchwork, no single piece stands alone. Each poem holds its own story, yet together they form a larger reflection of our shared existence. This book is about connection: how our lives brush against one another, how stories pass hands, how empathy is born in listening. In speaking to life through these poems, I speak to those who have ever felt unseen, unheard, or their stories unspoken. I speak to the beauty in ordinary moments and the weight of extraordinary ones. I offer these poems as a space to pause, to recognise ourselves in others, and to remember that every life and every story matters. This book is not just something I wrote; it is something I gathered. And in sharing it, I invite you to walk with me through these encounters, to listen closely, and to find pieces of your own humanity woven throughout its pages.
